Dr Suzanne Soliman- a talented role model for women in the field of pharmacy:

Dr Suzanne Soliman is a name that strikes a chord with women from across the globe, both because of her contributions to the field of pharmacy and medicine and also because of her accolades as a successful motivational leader speaking of gender equality and women’s rights.

When she was asked about what she basically does now, she replied “I am the Chief Academic Officer for the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA), a business that sets standards and a benchmark of excellence through certification for pharma companies on the competencies that their teams should have when interacting with healthcare providers. A woman, PharmD in a C-suite position. I get to have an impact on thousands of learners in over 75+ countries who work in the life sciences and healthcare industries so I consider myself pretty lucky. I also currently collaborate with health organizations to improve their recruitment and engagement practices to include more women.”

Like every successful human being in this world, Suzanne also had no easy and smooth journey, her journey was filled with series of adversities and mishaps, she had to go through a lot of catastrophes and hardships to reach this end of her career. Initially, during the pharma school days, she lost her grandmother and grandfather and even lost her father who was diagnosed with terminal cancer, this taught her a worthy lesson about how life is short and how one can make the best out of it. Presently she is leading 35,000 women with doctorate degrees as she is the superintendent of the largest organisation of pharmacists in the United States, by the name of Pharmacist Mothers Group (PhMG).

Suzanne has also served as a medical expert and journal reviewer for Annals of Pharmacotherapy and Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning. Her areas of interest are parenting, women’s health, assessment and professional development. Due to her hard work and achievements, she has been featured in well-known news outlets like The New York Times, ABC7NY, Daily Voice, “New York Magazine ”, “Crain’s Chicago Business’ ‘, “Time Out Chicago’.

Suzanne is a kind lady who has decided to keep on helping all the people within her reach. She loves connecting with her followers and listening to their struggles and journey. Recently she has also revealed that she will be writing a book to be released by December of this year. You can check out Dr Suzanne Soliman’s website for more information:
